Addictions are seen as disease processes that incorporate physical, psychological, family, social, and
spiritual problems. These areas all need to be addressed in providing a complete program. Individualized
evaluation and recommendation aid in providing a better prognosis and successful outcome. A treatment
team of professionals form a variety of social service backgrounds is utilized. A variety of different formats
allows for the adjustment necessary for personal needs. Prompt reporting within the limits of the client's
rights to confidentiality aids in maintaining treatment coordination and client confidence.
